The Department of Education-Misamis Oriental Division is in need of additional 120 teachers for the secondary level, an Education department official said, May 22.
Dr. Cherry Limbaco, DepEd-MisOr Schools Superintendent, said they prioritize applicants who are residents of Misamis Oriental.
“If you think you are qualified to become teacher for the secondary level, and that you are a resident of Misamis Oriental, you should apply. We need at least 120 teachers at this moment,” Dr. Limbaco announced in a short program initiated by the Misamis Oriental Brigada Eskwela 2017 Team at Libertad Elementary School in Libertad town.
Governor Bambi Emano was grateful for the opportunity that the Department of Education is giving to the people of the province who are still hunting for jobs particularly those who are graduates of education courses.
“This is a great opportunity for our graduates who are hopeful to land a job in the government. I think they should already apply because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that the Department of Education in Misamis Oriental Division is giving you,” Governor Emano urged.
Meanwhile, Dr. Limbaco called on parents to enrol their six-year-old children to school as pre-requisite before proceeding to the Kindergarten to 12 (Kto12) curriculums of the Department of Education.
