Camiguin town to benefit from DILG’s ADM program

To strengthen local government units (LGUs) to become more able partners in national development, the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) has been providing development funds to the most in need towns in the country through the Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities (ADM) program.


In Region 10, the municipality of Mahinog, Camiguin Island is one of the beneficiaries of the ADM program. The town’s seven barangays namely Taoctaoc, Tupsan Pequeño, San Miguel, San Isidro, Owakan, Puntod and Hubangon/San Jose are among the target recipients of the DILG.


The projects to be implemented in the province include the provision of potable water supply level III with an allotted budget of P5,672,000 and the core local road construction, Benoni housing and resettlement project with drainage canal, with total budget of P3, 500,000.


ADM provides water system, evacuation facility, local access roads, small water impounding, and sanitation and health facilities to the different municipalities in the country.
