Starting January 2017, taxpayers in Cagayan de Oro will experience comfort and convenience with the newest innovation of the City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) — the online tax payment and billing system.
The online tax payment and billing system of City Hall can be accessed through the city’s official website, www.cagayandeoro.gov.ph.
CTO Computer Division Chief Engr. Leonil Mistula said the new system aims to give ease to taxpayers when applying and paying for their business permit renewal or new application, including payment on real property tax and others such as building fees, traffic violation and market stall rental.
Aside from online tax payment, taxpayers can also personally view and even print their tax billing as the system is capable of processing real time online tax assessment, anytime, anywhere as long as internet connection is available.
However, manual processing of the annual business permit renewal at the Business One-Stop Shop or BOSS at City Hall still remains. The processing center starts full operation on January 3, 2017. (Connie L. Vasallo/PIA10)
